In 2011, Designs for Dignity provided $407,000 worth of donated materials and design services to 12 social service nonprofit projects including housing shelters, food pantries, community health centers, counseling centers, youth drop-in center and more. As Designs for Dignity finishes out the year, they are announcing their challenge grant, in anticipation of doubling their funds to match the $10,000 grant from The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. With your help, they can leverage that donation into $20,000.

Designs for Dignity's work is vital to the nonprofit community, serving marginalized or at-risk individuals. Their assets and “currency” are amazing networks of volunteer designers and material donors. The dollars they raise annually help them provide a transformation that equates to a ten-fold donation to other nonprofit social agencies serving marginalized or at-risk individuals.

Simply stated: THE DRIEHAUS FOUNDATION CHALLENGE GRANT WILL HELP US DOUBLE OUR MONEY. Your $25, $50, or $100 donation helps D4D provide ten times the value in services and materials that, ultimately, create environments that heal.
